Mobile: Review Image Recognition Results with the Insights Bottom Sheet
COMING SOON!
After you scan a shelf, the Insights bottom sheet lets you review image recognition results without leaving the photo. The sheet slides up over your image so you can check tagged products, filter by tag type or shelf, and select tags, all in one place.
Available on: GoSpotCheck mobile app (iOS and Android)
The bottom sheet appears on any processed image, in all scene types, while you are completing a mission and when you review results after submitting. It works in all three tag review views: Tag Results, Tag Edits, and Tag Overrides (coming later).

Switch between Insights and Product List
The bottom sheet has two views:
- Insights: Summary tiles for your tags (Known, Unknown, Empty Facings, and more) and any product assortment information.
- Product List: The full list of tagged items, organized by shelf section.
Note: The Product List button that used to appear in the upper right corner of the image screen has been removed. You now open the product list from the bottom sheet.

Browse the Product List
The product list is grouped into expandable sections: Shelf 0, Shelf 1, Shelf 2, and so on, plus a Point of Sale Materials section for POSM tags. Each section shows how many items it contains.
Tap a section header to expand or collapse it. Tapping a header does not filter the list or the image. To filter, use the tag type chips or the sections dropdown described below.
Filter by tag type
A row of chips at the top of the sheet lets you focus on one type of tag. Each type matches the color of its bounding box on the image:
| Chip | What it shows | Bounding box color |
|---|---|---|
| Known | Products that were identified | Blue |
| Unknown | Products that could not be identified | Yellow |
| Empty Facing | Shelf positions where no product was detected | Gray |
| Ignored | Tags that have been marked as ignored | Pink |
| POSM | Point of Sale Materials | Teal |
- Tap a chip to filter. Both the product list and the bounding boxes on the image update to show only that tag type.
- Tap the same chip again to clear the filter and show all tag types.
Only one chip can be active at a time. For example, tapping Unknown shows only the unknown tag boxes on the image and limits the list to unknown items across all sections.
Note: The POSM chip is unavailable while you are in Edit mode.
Filter by shelf or location
Next to the chips, the All Sections dropdown lets you filter by shelf or by POSM.
- Open the dropdown and select a location, such as Shelf 2.
- The list and the image show only items from that section.
- To clear the filter, select All Sections.
Only one location can be selected at a time. Chips stay tappable no matter which location is selected.
Combine filters and search
Chip and location filters work together. When both are active, you see only items that match both.
| Chip | Location | What you see |
|---|---|---|
| Unknown | None | All unknown tags across all sections |
| None | Shelf 1 | All tag types on Shelf 1 only |
| Unknown | Shelf 1 | Only unknown tags on Shelf 1 |
The search bar in the product list also combines with your filters. Results must match your search term and any active chip or location.
If nothing matches, the list shows 0 items and no bounding boxes appear on the image.
Reset your filters
Tap the ✕ button next to the item count at the top of the product list to clear both the chip filter and the location filter at once.
Note: Reset does not clear search. Clear your search term manually.
Your filters stay in place
When you switch between the List and Insights views in the sheet, your chip and location filters stay applied. When you return to the list, it looks the way you left it.
Select one or more items
In the product list you can select a single item or several at once. Selected rows are highlighted.
- iOS: An empty circle means unselected. A filled circle with a checkmark means selected.
- Android: A square checkbox shows the selection.
Note: In Edit mode, items in the POSM section cannot be selected.
Use the tag action bar in edit mode
When you select one or more items in tag Edit mode, the tag action bar appears at the bottom of the open sheet, on top of the product list. It appears as soon as you select the first item. It goes away when you deselect the last item or tap Clear.
