How to access Insights reporting

  • To get started, head to admin.gospotcheck.com and sign in to your GoSpotCheck dashboard using your email address.
  • Next, select your company environment. If you have access to multiple companies, use the dropdown in the top left corner to choose the right one.
  • Head to the top navigation bar and click Reporting to open the Reporting tab.
  • Click Advanced Reports to open your Insights dashboards and reports, then select a report from the left-hand panel.
    • Note: that only dashboards you have permission to view will be visible.

How to Filter Reports

  • Select your report by clicking on a dashboard from the left-hand panel.
  • Use the available filters to narrow your results. Common options include Completed Date, User, Place, and more.
  • Once your filters are set, click the refresh button (↺) to update the report. If needed, use the three-dot menu and select Reset Filters to return to defaults (shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+R).

How to export your report

  • Click the ⋮ icon in the upper-right corner of the report or dashboard to open the three-dot menu.
  • Select Download to open the download options panel.
  • Select your preferred format: CSV for data and spreadsheet use, or PDF for sharing
  • Click Download to confirm and the file will download directly to your computer.

How to schedule report delivery

  • Click the ⋮ icon in the upper-right corner of the report or dashboard to open the three-dot menu. Select Schedule Delivery.
  • Fill in your delivery settings:
    • Recurrence: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly
    • Delivery time and timezone
    • Destination: Email (additional options include: S3, SFTP, Webhook)
    • Email addresses and format: PDF or CSV
  • Click Save and the report will begin delivering automatically.

Note: Under Advanced Options, enable Expand tables to show all rows to make sure all data is included in the delivered report. Otherwise, large datasets may be truncated.

How to troubleshoot

  • Does your data look stale or incorrect? Open the three-dot menu ⋮ and select Clear Cache and Refresh to force a fresh data query.
  • Does your report show no data? Check your active filters. A date range, user, or place filter may be excluding all results.
  • Are you missing the Reporting tab? You may not be set up as an Insights user yet. Reach out to your CSM to confirm your access.
  • Is your report failing to deliver to recipients? Verify the email addresses in your schedule settings and ask recipients to check their spam folder.
