How to manually add a response

Do you find yourself scanning multiple barcodes and QR codes as part of your work? Chances are you’ll come across a Quick Scan Task! This Task allows you to quickly scan barcodes or QR codes*. You can capture barcodes continuously or one at a time.
How to scan
- Navigate to the Quick Scan Task you want to complete.
- Tap the Scan Products button.
- Hold your phone up to a barcode or QR code. The app will automatically capture and store the data from the barcode or QR code. The captured data will display at the top of the screen.

Move on to the next barcode or QR code you need to scan. The app will automatically capture and store the data from the barcode or QR code.
NOTE: If you want to scan one at a time you can tap the scan icon in the upper righthand corner. You can go back to continuous scan by tapping the same icon again.
Complete a scan
To complete the scan session in iOS, tap "Tasks" in the upper lefthand corner of the screen.
To complete the scan session in Android, tap the arrow in the upper lefthand corner of the screen.
Review scans
From the task view of a Mission Response, tap the icon displaying the scan count under the task's title.
How to remove a scan
If you accidentally scan the wrong item, don't worry! There are two ways to remove a scan. First, you can remove a scan while in the scan mode. Tap the "X" on the right side of capture preview.
Second, you can remove a scan by tapping the "X" on the right side of capture entry when viewing all scans. You can also tap "Clear All" in the upper right hand corner of the screen to remove all scans. A prompt will appear to confirm this action. This action cannot be undone.
How to edit a scan
Need to edit a scan? Tap the scan you want to edit. You will then be able to make changes to the scan.
Note: Your admin needs to turn this feature on at the Mission level. If you aren't able to edit a scan, reach out to them.
How to manually add a response
You can manually add a response, if you need to. Tap the "Add Manually" button from the Tasks screen. You will see the Barcode view. Enter the desired information and tap "Done."

Scan limits
Mobile users will be able to scan up to 10,000 barcodes (1D) codes or 1,000 QR Codes (2D codes) per Mission Response. When users are within 10 codes of the limit, there will be a visual indication that the limit is being reached.
