Minimum Software Requirements for Mobile Devices

The GoSpotCheck Mobile App is supported on the following mobile operating systems:

Apple

Android

iOS 18 and above (not including iOS in beta)
 

Android 8.0 and above


Support for iOS 16 and iOS 17 are depreciated on March 26th, 2026 making iOS 18 the minimum iOS supported. While users on an unsupported OS will still be able to use the GSC app, they will not be able to receive any new versions of it. If users on a deprecated OS report bugs, those bugs will not be addressed.

NOTE: We do not support jailbroken iOS or rooted Android devices for security purposes. If your device is already jailbroken/rooted, you will need to restore it to factory settings to use GoSpotCheck.  For more information on potential security vulnerabilities of a jailbroken iOS device, check out this Apple Support article.
NOTE: We do not support any operating systems in beta state.
