Invitations & User Activation Status
When adding new Users in your GoSpotCheck Web Dashboard, you have the option to send an invitation email to your UsersA person with a role of User is only able to access the mobile app, and has no access to the Web dashboard.. You can either choose "Invite" or "Not Now", which will prompt the email to be sent out or not. If you click "Not Now", the User will still be added to the system and will be able to log in to the Mobile App once they have it downloaded on their device.
NOTE: Currently, you cannot edit the text in the invite email.
Once a User has been added to your GoSpotCheck Web Dashboard, you can track whether or not they have activated their account.
- From the Web Dashboard, navigate to the People page.
- Find the User you want to check the Activation Status for.
- View the column, Activation Status, next to their name.
Users will have one of four classifications assigned:
|Enabled||User has activated their GSC account by logging in to GoSpotCheck and creating a password. A green check mark will display, along with the date and time the account was activated.|
User’s account has been created but they haven’t been sent the GSC Invitation email.
NOTE: As soon as a User’s information has been added to your Web Dashboard, your Users can sign in to GoSpotCheck and enable their account, even without receiving an Invitation email.
|Invited||User has been sent the Invitation email but has not yet activated their account. The date and time of the invitation will display. You can always resend an invitation email by clicking the "Re-invite" button on the right-hand side of the page.|
|Disabled||User was once part of your company account, but their access to the Mobile Application and the Web Dashboard has been removed.|
Company AdminsA person with a role of Admin can access the mobile app and anything and everything else in the dashboard. and Role-Based Users with access to the People Tab can bulk Invite and Re-Invite users with the Invite All and Re-Invite All buttons.
